Coach Ron Meyer recently joined our World Champion handicapping team bringing
his football expertise from over 30 years of coaching in the NCAA and NFL and
10 years as an NFL analyst for CNN/Sports Illustrated. Coach Meyer graduated with Honors from The Coach began his college coaching career when he went back
to his alma mater as assistant coach. He
spent the next six years coaching at Purdue, including Bob Griese's 1967 Rose Bowl Championship Team. After leaving Purdue in 1971, Coach Meyer worked as a talent
scout for the Dallas Cowboys, during which time he played an instrumental part
in forming the Cowboys’ first Super Bowl Championship team in 1972, as well
as helping build what would become known as “America’s Team” and the “Team of
the 70’s.” Coach Meyer accepted the head coaching position at the Coach Meyer moved up to the NFL as Head Coach for the New England
Patriots in 1982, winning the prestigious AFC Coach of the Year that same year.
The next year, the Coach guided his team to their first playoff berth
since 1978, losing to the eventual AFC Champion Miami Dolphins.
After the 1984 season, he left With three games remaining in the 1986 season, the 0-13 Colts
turned to Coach Meyer, hiring him as Head Coach. He became the first coach in Colts history to
win his first three games as Coach Meyer brings the credentials of 2-time AFC Coach of
the Year to the WinningEDGE. His insights from a lifetime of designing
winning college and pro football game plans will immediately establish “The
