This is the time to make money. Preseason football is more about the coaches' game plan and the gathering of critical information. Many times the veteran QB's are sidelined, so that is the time to sit the veteran offensive linemen as well. With that being said, that team will be playing 2nd and 3rd stringers and if they are up against a team playing their veterans, the contest may become a blowout resulting in a huge point spread WIN! That is a game you never want to miss. No promises that every match-up is like that, but there usually are a few each week.
My information is updated in "real time" each week as each team's game plans are updated. During the regular season, both teams play to win with their best personnel. The next four (4) weeks are the only time during the year that information holds this much importance or value. That's why betting preseason games can be highly profitable.
Dallas Cowboys
Head Coach: Jason Garrett
Quarterback Rotation: Tony Romo, Brandon Weeden, Caleb Hanie, Dustin Vaughan (Rookie West Texas A&M)
The Cowboys put very little emphasis on preseason games. It will be interesting to see how many reps Tony Romo gets.
New York Giants
Head Coach: Tom Coughlin
Quarterback Rotation: Eli Manning, Ryan Nassib, Curtis Painter
I'm sure Coach Coughlin will like to see Eli Manning's interceptions dramatically reduced from than last season.
Philadelphia Eagles
Head Coach: Chip Kelly
Quarterback Rotation: Nick Foles, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, G. J. Kinne
Not sure if anyone is any good beyond Foles at QB..
Washington Redskins
Head Coach: Jay Gruden (ROOKIE)
Quarterback Rotation: Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins, Colt McCoy
This is a team that loves to win in preseason. It might be a Dan Snyder thing. 4-0 SU and ATS last season. And who wouldn't love all 3 of their QB's?
Chicago Bears
Head Coach: Marc Trestman
Quarterback Rotation: Jay Cutler, Jimmy Clausen, Jordan Palmer, David Fales (Rookie San Jose State)
They need to see how Jay Cutler comes back from injury....BUT...they can't afford to let him get hurt.
Detroit Lions
Head Coach:
Jim Caldwell (ROOKIE)
Quarterback Rotation: Matthew Stafford, Kellen Moore, Dan Orlovsky, James Franklin (Rookie Missouri)
Matt Stafford is the key to the Lions' success and for his rookie coach, he may play to score and win these games.
Green Bay Packers
Head Coach: Mike McCarthy
Quarterback Rotation: Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn, Scott Tolzien, Chase Rettig (Rookie Boston College)
Rodgers does not need workouts. He needs to stay injury free. Look for him starting in week 2, so week 1 may be a go against.
Minnesota Vikings
Head Coach: Mike Zimmer (ROOKIE)
Quarterback Rotation: Matt Cassel, Teddy Bridgewater (Rookie Louisville), Christian Ponder
The Vikings have little offense so the theme for the preseason will be Defense with a Capital "D".
Atlanta Falcons
Head Coach: Mike Smith
Quarterback Rotation: Matt Ryan, T.J. Yates, Sean Renfree, Jeff Mathews (Rookie Cornell)
The Falcons can put up the numbers, but they will allow tons of points trying out different defensive players.
Carolina Panthers
Head Coach: Ron Rivera
Quarterback Rotation: Cam Newton (Injury- Ankle), Derek Anderson, Matt Blanchard, Joe Webb
Hard to make out much in terms of their QB rotation for preseason at this time
New Orleans Saints
Head Coach: Sean Payton
Quarterback Rotation: Drew Brees, Ryan Griffin, Luke McCown, Logan Kilgore (Rookie Middle Tennessee State) No QB controversy in this camp. They just go out and light it up every week #3 and #4 averaging 55 points the past 4 years.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Head Coach: Lovie Smith (ROOKIE)
Quarterback Rotation: Josh McCown, Alex Tanney, Mike Glennon, Mike Kafka,
McCown seems to have the nod, but he still needs to show his stuff.
Arizona Cardinals
Head Coach: Bruce Arians
Quarterback Rotation: Carson Palmer, Drew Stanton, Ryan Lindley, Logan Thomas (Rookie Virginia Tech)
Coach Bruce Arians seems to get his guys to light it up all year around, so the QB's will have the green light.
San Francisco 49ers
Head Coach: Jim Harbaugh
Quarterback Rotation: Colin Kaepernick, Josh Johnson, Blaine Gabbert, McLeod Bethel-Thompson, Kory Faulkner (Rookie Southern Illinois)
Coach Harbaugh has never walked the sidelines without one thing on his mind: WINNING
Seattle Seahawks
Head Coach: Pete Carroll
Quarterback Rotation: Russell Wilson, Tarvaris Jackson, Terrelle Pryor, B. J. Daniels
This team should win some preseason games with their QB line-up. (Seahawks are 11-1 SU and ATS the past 3 years)
St. Louis Rams
Head Coach: Jeff Fisher
Quarterback Rotation: Sam Bradford, Shaun Hill, Garrett Gilbert (Rookie SMU), Austin Davis
Coach Fisher is a "pro" and will place more emphasis on evaluating over winning.
Your assignment is to come to for my updates every week. I believe that there are many betting opportunities during the preseason. This is the perfect time to build your bankroll for the upcoming season!!
